5.1 Speaker Packages
These speaker packages combine a pair of front speakers (bookshelf or floorstanders), a centre speaker, subwoofer and pair of rear speakers (usuaslly bookshelf or satellite speakers), including everything you need to enjoy cinema sound at home. Most of these are 5.1 (five speakers and a subwoofer which is the "0.1" bit), although you can add an additional pair of side-rear channels (bookshelf or satellite speakers) for 7.1 channels.
