The Wharfedale Super Linton Speakers (Pair) are the "Super" upgrade to the iconic Linton loudspeaker. Wharfedale has enhanced the drive units, crossover, and cabinet to give you the best performance possible.
Elevating a Classic
Wharfedale has a rich history in loudspeaker manufacturing that dates back to 1932, and its Heritage Series celebrates this legacy with re-engineered classics from the 1960s and 1970s. The new Super Linton joins this lineup, following the success of the original Linton and the recently introduced Super Denton.
While the vintage Linton models set the stage decades ago, the new Super Linton takes performance to a whole new level.
Design Enhancements
Retaining the classic styling that made the original Linton popular, the Super Linton features a taller and more acoustically refined cabinet. Its dimensions increase internal volume, which improves sound quality. The cabinet construction utilizes dual layers of fiberboard bonded with specialized damping glue to minimize resonance, while the interior is filled with long-hair fiber and acoustic-damping foam.
Superior Drivers for Unmatched Sound
The Super Linton boasts upgraded drivers that enhance audio performance across all frequencies. The 200mm woven Kevlar bass driver, paired with a powerful motor system, extends low-frequency response to 32 Hz, delivering deep and impactful bass.
The new high-frequency unit features a fine fabric weave and a damped rear chamber, allowing for exceptional clarity and detail in the treble range. The midrange driver, housed in a specially designed chamber, ensures seamless integration with the bass and treble for a cohesive listening experience.
Advanced Crossover Technology
At the heart of the Super Linton is an all-new crossover network, designed to minimize electromagnetic interference. This split-circuit layout utilizes high-quality inductors and capacitors to ensure transparency and audio fidelity.
