The Technics SC-CX700B Active Speakers are far more than just an active speaker but a complete audio system. You can stream from popular streaming services such as Spotify using the Technics Audio Centre app. There is also an MM input for turntables.
For the best sound different room position profiles are available and the cabinets will fit with any décor. The drivers and amplifiers are mounted in separate enclosures and the innovative driver has a centre-mounted tweeter. Lastly, you can easily connect your TV sound.
Stream from any device wirelessly
You can stream from popular services such as Spotify and Tidal easily from any device using the Technics Audio Centre app. The Technics SC-CX700B Active Speakers have four main functions that let you select the source or your favorite settings, as well as sound profiles for different room positions.
Enhanced room sound profiles
The Technics SC-CX700B Active Speakers are equipped with three Space Tune functions. A microphone is used in conjunction with the Digital Sound Processor to tune the sound for different speaker positions. Settings include free, wall, corner, or shelf. Moreover, the left and right channels can be set independently.
Innovative cabinet design
The cabinets of the Technics SC-CX700B Active Speakers are covered in a textured microfibre material similar to suede. This is known as Dinamica and is available in black, grey, and a terracotta colour.
Acoustic separation for the divers
The drivers and amplifiers in the Technics SC-CX700B Active Speakers are enclosed in separate compartments. This reduces mutual interference and minimizes vibrations for a clear sound. Moreover, to save space the driver is a coaxial unit with a centre-mounted ring tweeter and surrounding main driver.
Next' to reduce interference with the wireless connection between speakers a JENO engine is fitted to each. This maintains high-quality stereo sound.
Model-Based Diaphragm Control
Model-Based Diaphragm Control (MBDC) was developed using computer simulation to track the movement of the speaker's cone. As a result, the sound has reduced distortion as well as a more accurate sound.
