Description
TEAC AP-701 flagship power amplifier is fully balanced with a dual mono structure, effective vibration control design, fanless design and high quality audiophile features.
Complete Dual Mono Structure
The AP-701 power amplifier’s circuitry has complete dual mono structure from output to input using two Ncore modules and two toroidal core power supply transformers. A completely mono structure stops interferences between right and left signals and achieves amazing channel separation.
Efficient and high quality audio is achieved by using Hypex Ncore power amplifier modules. The amplifier modules drive the speakers without losing any of the musicality of the sound.
Vibration control
Vibration control has been achieves using a flexible structure,3mm-thick heavy sheet metal secure the front, side and rear panel while while joints provide suspension at the junctions of each of the panels making up the amplifier. Additionally, the AP-701 utilises TEAC’s original pin-point feet are the screws used to fix the circuit boards to the chassis is reduced.
Fanless Design
The AP-701 has been engineered with a fanless design despite the high power output. This has been realised via calculated circuit board placement that allows for air flow and precise layout of air inlets and outlets. Heat is also dispersed by attaching the modules directly to the bottom panel and a fin structure along the side panels.
Audio Quality Features
Slits inbetween each connector ensure the durability of the input circuits while input circuits themselves use directi wiring to deliver signals to the discrete buffer circuits without losing any of their clarity.

The body of the AP-701 has been designed to fit into any living space, with a reduction in height and depth allowing you to have more freedom in where you place the amplifier.
