The Rothwell Audio Signature Two MC Phono Stage is an audiophile-grade phonostage designed specifically for low-output moving coil cartridges. Unlike many other designs, it employs entirely discrete transistor circuitry throughout, avoiding op-amps and transformers to maintain the purest signal path.
The Signature Two features a four-stage Class A design, with the first stage offering low-noise operation, adjustable load impedance from 32 ohms to 1100 ohms, and variable gain from 52dB to 72dB. Load and gain are independently adjustable, allowing optimal performance across a wide range of moving coil cartridges.
A proprietary discrete transistor regulator supplies exceptionally clean power to this stage, ensuring consistent performance regardless of mains electricity quality, preserving detail and musicality with absolute precision for discerning audiophiles.
Sophisticated Four-Stage Audio Design
