Pro-Ject Align IT phono cartridge alignment tool is a highly accurate way to line up your turntable phono cartridge. It is adaptable for use with turntables fitted with different length tonearms, between 8" and 12" in length.
Why is it important to ensure your phono cartridge is so accurately aligned? With the tiny signals being picked up by the phono cartridge, small positive adjustments (like having your turntable on a wall shelf, brushing vinyl prior to playback - and proper alignment) all help to improve the sound from your vinyl. Proper alignment is vital both for the best possible sound and to ensure your stylus isn't prematurely worn.
This Align IT tool includes a special slip-proof surface and tool for defining the turning centre of Pro-Ject tonearms. It can also be used with other manufacturer tonearms just as effectively.
