Description
Pathos Adrenalin Monoblok Power Amplifie uses INPOL (“Inseguitore a Pompa Lineare” - Linear Pump Tracker), INPOL technology is a tube amplifier that features a sensitive and high end timbre that is combined with a high output capacity. This technology is designed to increase the output of a pure class-A amplifier by between 25% and 50%. Each amplifier within the Pathos is made of two power stages connected using an INPOL configuration, delivering 200W of power and a load of 8 Ohm.
Power Buffer
The Pathos’ power buffer has unitary gain that is managed by a tube amplification stage using 3 double triodes, one 6H30 and 2 ECC83/12AX7. The first stage uses a differential totem pole with two12AX7 generates voltage amplification to generate voltage amplification. The Pathos’ second stage is a buffer that has a common anode with the 6H30 and has the function of driving two groups of power mosfets. The signal on the two outputs amplified and out of phase between them, is delivered to two buffers with INPOL technology.
Power Stages
To avoid interference problems with diffusers, the polarisation of the Adrenalin’s two power stages is at a high level which delivers a constant electrical current. The power supply has built in C-multipliers on the ignition voltage of filaments and on the voltage-current generators.
Power Supply
The star of the show with the Adrenaline is its sensitive power supply that delivers a continuous electrical current of more than 12A. Pathos has used only the finest materials to make the Adrenaline and have used an optimum inductive/capacitive switching power supply that can perfectly filter the electrical current of the two power stages.
