Description
Ortofon Verismo MC Phono cartridge housing is made from Titanium using a Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technique. SLM allows for precise accurate control of the density of the cartridge body material and allows for extremely high internal damping.
Replicant 100 Diamond
The Verismo MC comes with Ortofon’s replicant 100 diamond, the replicant 100 is a Line Contact stylus with a long and narrow contact surface which is designed to be as close as possible to the original cutting stylus of the vinal. This is done to achieve the most accurate possible reproduction, lowest distortion and extended frequency range.
Diamond Cantilever
Ortonfon has fitted the Verismo MC with a Diamond cantilever that is designed to provide the optimum interface between armature and stylus and presents greater musical detail, subtlety and depth.
Cartridge and Tonearm Integration
Ortofon has designed the Verismo MC to have a perfect integration of the cartridge and tonearm. Three well-defined contact points on the top of the cartridge allow for contact between the cartridge and tonearm resulting in a breathtaking increase in resolution, dynamics and richness of detail.
Compatibility
The Verismo MC has its weight and moderate compliance optimised to suit a majority of modern tonearms which allows the Verismo MC to be compatible with many contemporary high-end turntable equipment.
