Description
Create the ultimate home cinema system with the Onkyo TX-RZ30 AV Receiver. This 9.2-channel unit can be used to create Dolby Atmos systems. Moreover, Imax enhanced is included and you can stream from Spotify and Amazon Music as well as many others.
Next, an ultra-wide bandwidth design is used, and each channel has an output of 170 Watts. Dirac live room enhancement optimizes the sound and Imax Enhanced is available. Dolby Vision is installed and there is a wide range of inputs including six HDMI connectors and two outputs. Lastly, there is an input for a turntable.
Ultra-wide bandwidth sound
Custom low-noise transformers and large smoothing capacitors are used in the Onkyo TX-RZ30 AV Receiver. This provides a remarkable frequency range with punchy lows down to 5hz and highs up to an amazing 100kHz.
Each of the nine channels has an output of 170 Watts. Large smoothing capacitors provide a reserve of power with big transients such as explosions. This prevents any dips in supply voltage which could cause distortion.
What is a 9.2 system?
With the Onkyo TX-RZ30 AV Receiver, you can create a 9.2 system. The 9 refers to 9 main channels and the .2 refers to two sub-woofers. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X use a left and right front pair of speakers along with a centre channel. Additionally, there are two side speakers and two to the rear. Lastly, there are two ceiling or height channels with two speakers each.
Dirac live room enhancement
Dirac live Room Correction Full Bandwidth is included with the Onkyo TX-RZ30 AV Receiver. This corrects the sound in the room by using a microphone to monitor the receiver’s output. The full frequency range from 20Hz to 20 Khz is monitored and optimized.
Moreover, the optional bass control ensures that the subwoofer is well-integrated with the rest of the system. Additionally, mid-frequencies that were previously inaudible become clear.
Imax enhanced
Imax Enhanced offers the ultimate theatre experience in the home. Object-based audio is used to precisely place sound in 3D space. Moreover, the picture uses a proprietary algorithm for richer colours and high contrast. Detail is also enhanced. DTS:X is supported.
What is Dolby Atmos?
Dolby Atmos was first developed for cinemas and creates an immersive 3d experience by using additional side and height speakers. Sound objects are created that can be placed anywhere in 3D space.
For example, the sound of an aircraft can pass overhead. Dolby Vision boosts the picture frame by frame dynamically adjusting brightness, contrast, and colour for the best effect. Detail is enhanced and deep shadows are rendered correctly.
Built-in streaming
The Onkyo TX-RZ30 AV Receiver comes with your favourite streaming services built in. Two WIFI aerials are attached for a good connection. Moreover, you can also play streaming services such as Spotify through all nine channels. A Sonos system can be connected with the addition of a Sonos port.
Superb connectivity
Starting with the analogue section the Onkyo TX-RZ30 AV Receiver has superb connectivity. There is an input for an MM cartridge equipped turntable as well as another 6 analogue inputs via RCA connectors. Video inputs include six HDMI connectors.
There are also two HDMI outputs for connecting to a TV as well as another zone. eARC is available to allow you to control the volume with your TV remote. Additionally, there are nine speaker outputs and a pre-out section with two line-level subwoofer outputs.
