Description
The Naim NAP 250 6th Gen Power Amplifier is the latest version in a four-decade-long quest for amplifier perfection from Naim Audio. This sixth generation NAP 250 takes advantage of the latest technology, with unrivalled performance to get the best possible sound from your loudspeakers.
Power To the Audio
The NAP 250 comes armed with Eight NA009 transistors, that are split in half with 4 for the PSU and 4 for the output stages. Each of these is mounted on ceramic insulators to ensure an ultra-low capacitive coupling, delivering protection that has constantly been refined over the past 40 years.
Keeping Cool
Naim has gone to great lengths to ensure the NAP 250 6th Generation keeps it’s cool when under load, thanks to the implementation of a brand new and improved heatsink that has been designed to intelligently respond to temperature fluctuation under load to keep your amplifier cool so it doesn’t break a sweat as the power increases.
Legacy Support
Naim has taken steps to ensure that the 6th generation of the NAP 250 plays nice with legacy products thanks to the option of the legacy inputs enabling you to bring the amplifier into your setup no matter the speaker setup. Also included is a 20-minute auto power off to allow a steady power down (which can auto-detect audio as well) protecting your speakers and other audio equipment.
Synchronised Grounding
The legendary NAP 250 in all its iterations has always played nicely with others but now the 6th generation brings aboard inter-product communication via 3.5mm optical cable to create a complete synchronised system and eliminate ground loops to give your equipment a chance to truly shine.
