Description
My Sonic Lab Hyper Eminent is a MC cartridge designed to better withstand resonance, prevent unwanted vibration and to deliver clear and detailed audio reproduction. Like all My Sonic Lab cartridges, it is based on their low impedance design.
Why the Hyper Eminent?
My Sonic Lab’s Hyper Eminent is a moving coil cartridge. It sits between the Eminent EX and the Ultra Eminent models and is designed to further reduce cartridge resonance at the base of the head and vibration to the suspension system.
Ultra Eminent Build
Like all My Sonic Lab cartridge designs, the Hyper Eminent has a low-impedance maximum output design by using very strong neodymium magnets in conjunction with a specially developed coil core material, called SH-µX. The SH-µX.
It uses a Neodymium #50 magnet, which allows for reduced number of coils to be wound and in turn lowers the resistance; while it’s high output voltage makes it possible to deliver a detailed resolution throughout the entire audio spectrum.
Lower Vibrations
The hyper Eminent has a stronger base and an ultra duralumin cantilever, together in a surface hardening process to reduce resonance and vibration. Plus, an exclusive ion-bonding process is carried out to achieve a surface rigidity of over 1500 hp.
