My Sonic Lab Eminent Solo is a mono MC cartridge with an elliptical semi-line contact stylus. The eminent Solo has a low impedance maximum output design to produce a detailed resolution and efficient output.

Low Impedance Maximum Output Design
The Eminent Solo design, like all My Sonic Lab cartridge designs, is based on the low-impedance maximum output technique, which is achieved using very strong neodymium magnets in conjunction with a specially developed coil core material, named SH-µX. The SH-µX
The Eminent Solo uses a Neodymium #50 magnet that has no magnetic saturation interference, which reduces the number of coils wound, which in turn reduces the resistance while it’s high output voltage makes it possible to deliver efficient and detailed resolutions throughout the entire audio spectrum.
Semi-Line Contact Stylus
The Eminent Solo has a semi-line contact type stylus with a short radius of 3µmm and a long radius of 30µmm. This ensures accurate tracking, even with record grooves that have delicate amplitude variations.
The elliptical design increases contact surface area for improved stylus alignment and reduces incidence of miss-tracking caused by the pinch effect.
