Description
The Martin Logan Outdoor Living Foundation 8.1 System comprises 8 satellite speakers as well as a mushroom-shaped subwoofer. It is designed to create an even sound field in your garden or other outdoor areas. The speakers are discreet and blend into the landscape.
Furthermore, the sound does not bleed so there is little to annoy the neighbours. The enclosures are rugged and weatherproof for a long life in all weathers. Lastly, they can be driven by any stereo amplifier. Both the speakers and subwoofer are IP-rated
Stunning performance
There are a plethora of outdoor speakers available but few have Martin Logan's design experience behind them. By using multiple speakers with a subwoofer an even sound distribution can be achieved in the seating area. Moreover, the sound can be kept lower which avoids any noise complaints.
Easy to drive
The Martin Logan Outdoor Living Foundation 8.1 System can be driven from a standard amplifier and installation is easy. Assembly is toolless and all you need is some outdoor speaker cable and a shovel. Wire strippers may also be needed for installation.
All weather performance
The outdoor range from Martin Logan has been rigorously tested and will work in all weathers. The Martin Logan Outdoor Living Foundation 8.1 System has an IP58 rating for the subwoofer and will survive for many years outdoors.
Aluminium dome tweeters
Sound performance is a priority and the Martin Logan Outdoor Living Foundation 8.1 System drivers include an alumiumum dome tweeter. These have wide dispersion that evenly distributes the sound. They also have a 4” woofer.
Lastly, the subwoofer features a weather-resistant driver enclosed in an HDPE enclosure. This is the same tough material used for underground water systems. Only the mushroom cap is visible and this also helps to evenly distribute the bass.
