Description
Klipsch RF-7 III Speakers feature dual 10" cast basket Cerametallic woofers, an all-new titanium compression driver, 90x90 compressed moulded-rubber Tractrix horn, redesigned bifurcated cabinet and finished in a premium, furniture-grade wood veneer - the RF-7 III floorstanding speaker champions legendary, high-performance Klipsch sound.
New Dual Chamber
The RF-7 III has a new bifurcated enclosure which allows each 10” driver and port to work independently from the other. This improves the linearity of both drive systems and minimises standing wave problems inside the cabinet that can cause frequency anomalies in the sensitive midrange frequencies. Utilising Tractrix geometry, the new RF-7 III ports allow for the most efficient air transfer from the cabinet — for the cleanest, most powerful low-frequency response on the market.
90° x 90° Tractrix Horn
The redesigned Tractrix Horn utilises a circular horn throat paired to a square horn mouth to further improve high-frequency response and extension while enhancing imaging and dynamics. The compacted sculpted rubber structure increases high-frequency damping to decrease roughness and recover detail. This produces the clearest, most life-like sound conceivable.
All-New Driving Force
The 3/4" compression driver with titanium diaphragm comprises a fresh phase plug to enhance phase coherency at the horn’s gullet for improved audio pressure linearity at high frequencies.
Cerametallic Woofers
Cerametallic woofers signify the apex of Klipsch driver strategy, preserving outstanding rigidity, and weightless construction for marginal cone fragmentation and bias. When combined with the Tractrix horn-loaded driver, it delivers speaker productivity top in its class.
Cast Frame Design
Each 10” woofer hosts a durable cast aluminium casing for resonant-free function. Additionally, each woofer combines a twin shorting-ring magnet assembly to remove variation of the magnetic flux for better linearity of the cone passage. RF-7 III speakers utilise furniture grade wood veneers and come in Black Ash, Cherry or Walnut.
