Description
Klipsch R-40M speakers replace the R-41M and have been improved to offer even better sound at an excellent price. Part of Klipsch’s latest Reference range, the R-40M is well suited to a variety of amplifiers, an ideal choice both for two channel and multi channel setups.
Tractrix Horns - A Step Into The Future
On the R-40M, Klipsch has delivered an all new horn thanks to their 90Ëš by 90Ëš Tractrix technology which delivers a cleaner, more accurate sound than Klipsch have previously delivered.
This horn technology has been mated with a 1” aluminium tweeter made with Klipsch’s own LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) technology that is designed to not only deliver perfect sound but to reduce distortion to near impossible to hear levels.
New TCP Woofers
When it comes to the woofer unit, Klipsch has taken the standard to a new height, thanks to the single 4” spun copper drivers that contain another technical marvel from Klipsch called TCP (Thermoformed Crystalline Polymer) that delivers the woofer at a sharper angle to improve accuracy and response extenuating each nuance of the audio your listening to.
Reference Style
The classic sleek look of Klipsch is perfectly represented here on the R-40M with a wood-grain vinyl added to the MDF cabinet to ensure that these speakers do not intrude on your carefully selected decor in the room these will live.
Keeping Connected
The R-40M delivers once again in the connectivity department with single gold-plated binding posts for the ultimate in accuracy and clarity whilst ensuring that the wire management is taken care of and not something you need to worry about in your setup.
Excellent Sound
Klipsch as always pride themselves on creating the best sound they possibly can, with the R-40M they have taken it up a notch with a frequency response of 71Hz to 21kHz (+/- 3dB) at 8ohm, meaning that the complete spectrum is covered with some room for the speaker to really breathe and flex its muscles – ensuring your setup can only ever be equalled and not surpassed.
