Description
Icon Audio designed the MFV3 MkII Super floorstanding speakers are the biggest in the range, piano black floorstanding speakers capable of filling a large room with beautiful golden sound from as little as 10 watts. As high sensitivity speakers, they can be matched with low to medium power valve amplifiers from Icon Audio and others, or use with higher power standard solid state amps.
The MFV MkII Super features a new cone material which includes sheep’s wool giving a slightly less aggressive presentation than other man made material. Icon decided to stick with a floorstanding design as smaller speakers require expensive stands and offer less than satisfying bass performance. They are biwirable and include a removable pair of front grilles.
