HiFi Man Arya Headphones Stealth Edition utilises a diaphragm that is a nanometer in thickness. HiFi Man developed this breakthrough core technology as a first of its kind used in headphones. The highly advanced material is extremely challenging, however, the successful incorporation of this film within the Arya's planar driver makes for a remarkable soundscape.
Acoustically Invisible Stealth Magnet
The unique shape of the Stealth Magnets enables sound waves to pass through the magnets without generating interference. HiFi Man has designed their magnets to be acoustically transparent which dramatically reduces wave diffraction turbulence that degrades sound waves. As a result, the Arya Stealth headphones deliver sonic output that is accurate and full-range.
High-grade Metal and Plastic Construction
The HiFi Man Arya Stealth Edition headband has been made using high-quality metal for extra strength and high-grade plastic for lightweight comfort and durability. Cables
The HiFi Man Arya Stealth headphones are kept simple with a 6.35mm plug that fits a single back, woven, Crystalline copper cable. Additionally, the Arya Stealth comes with a sturdy 3.5mm replaceable connector design to allow for easy cable swapping.

They are very leaky open-back cans, however -- which is what makes them sound so good -- and this may require a quiet room without other people or a forgiving partner or companion. Even my wife has commented on it -- but I was playing something really rather loud. I now try to restrain myself (both for the sake of my own hearing too) -- but it is difficult because with the volume at generous levels they sound fantastic.
While I always listen using headphones I don't regard myself a headphone connoisseur -- I don't collect the damn things or buy them to compare, for example -- but at their current price the Hi Fi Man Arya Stealth must surely be one of the best buys around. I bought them intending that they would be the last cans I'll ever buy and I can see no reason why this won't be the case. The other wonderful quality they have is that of utter comfort.
But I must say that for the first time I went into Birmingham to audition cans from the extensive range they have on demo in the Gibb Street showroom and the whole experience was just what I wanted and needed.
I'm not aware of anywhere else in Birmingham where it is still possible to audition well set-up headphones from a range of companies, and this was what I most valued. Had I bought something without hearing I now realise that I would have almost certainly made the wrong choice because I listened over the course of an hour or so to all the main contenders I had listed and the Arya was the unexpected winner. A very satisfied customer.
