Description
The Era Gold Green (originally the Intro) is an excellent phono stage for a moving magnet (MM) or high output moving coil (MC) cartridges (of 2mV to 8mV nominal output), offering 'giant killing' performance. The Era Gold Green is unlike others phono amps at the price because it throws out normal thinking and uses a newly designed chip to outperform many standard discrete designs. On listening tests, many commented it sounds better than other phono stages costing more than £1000 and therefore offers exceptional value for money.
This phono stage can also be used with a low output moving coil (MC) cartridges if used with the Elevator EXP, a step-up model which goes between phono stage and turntable.
Includes standard power supply. The more expensive Era Gold V includes the better Graham Slee PSU1 power supply, although you can upgrade to this later if desired.
