What is a streamer?
A streamer is a stand-alone unit that deals with digital audio. In high-end systems, digital processing is kept away from sensitive analogue amplifiers to reduce noise pickup. Digital audio can be on either a remote or local system For example local storage could be on an NAS drive. (Network Attached Storage). On the other hand, most music is provided by streaming service providers such as Spotify. There are also HD streaming services such as Tidal.
