Description
Chord Clearway X Minijack to RCA Interconnect is a high performance cable featuring Chord's ARAY conductor geometry. Inspired by the award winning C-line's design, the Clearway X RCA features upgraded materials for a great value, high performing interconnect.
The New X Version
The X version of the Chord Clearway ARAY analogue RCA cable includes ChorAlloy™ plated Chord VEE3 RCA connectors. The shielding has also been upgraded with XLPE insulation and dual-layer shielding. ChorAlloy is designed to have better conductivity and will not tarnish over time. ChorAlloy also avoids changes in impedance where the cable terminates. This is important with low signal levels such as that from an MC cartridge. Moreover, The XLPE material is more durable than PVC and is also more heat and moisture-resistant.
ARAY Conductor Geometry
The Chord Clearway X RCA incorporates unique ARAY conductor geometry which allows the cables to carry information more accurately, providing more musical details and improving the reproduction of instruments, and vocals.

This cable uses the finest components, as seen in all of Chord's cables to provide the optimum signal transfer. Ultra-high purity OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) conductors are protected using an upgraded FEP insulation and shielded by a dual-layer heavy gauge foil design. The conductors are mechanically damped with PVC and fitted with a stereo mini-jack plug.
