Description
Audio Technica ATH-WP900 are over-ear headphones that are housed in flame maple cups for high-fidelity listening with a stylish aesthetic. The WP900’s deliver hi res audio with the use of their exclusive drivers and specially designed audio connection types.
Hi-Res Audio
The WP900 headphones are developed to accurately deliver ‘hi-res’ audio, generally considered to be 96 kHz/24-bit or better. To meet the Hi-Res Audio standards (transducer frequency performance to at least 40 kHz), Audio-Technica designed the WP900’s to ensure they deliver the full reproduction of their extended sonic characteristics.
Maple Wood Housing
The ATH-WP900 headphones have flame finished, machined maple cups to produce housings that ensures a clear and natural sound quality, and to look extremely stylish. Maple wood is stiff and dense, often used to make string instruments such as guitars and violins.
Audio Technica Exclusive Drivers
The ATH WP900’s use exclusive 53mm drivers combined with powerful magnetic circuitry and Diamond Like Carbon coating for a full-range audio reproduction, with improved high frequency response. The baffle is specially developed to better the airflow between the front and rear of the diaphragm for improved low/mid range audio reproductions.
New Headphone Connector
Audio Technica have used a new A2DC (Audio Designed Detachable Coaxial) connector design for the ATHWP900’s. This is to create a better connection, reduced connector rotation and develop a connector dedicated for audio.

- 1.2m cable with a 4.4mm 5-pole gold-plated balanced plug, for use with high-res digital audio players and balanced headphone amps.
Comfortable and Portable
The ATH-WP900’s headband and pads are made from smooth, synthetic leather for long-lasting comfort, perfect for long listening. The swivel-flat design also enables the WP900’s to be transported with ease with an included carrying pouch.
