Description
ATC CDA2 Mk2 CD player and DAC preamplifier is an updated version of the original CDA2 released in 2013.
Enhancements
ATC has re-engineered the circuits for optimum performance from the new 32bit DAC. It is also more efficient than the original thanks to the improved the power supply.
Connectivity
Alongside its CD input, the CDA2 Mk2 has coaxial and optical inputs capable of 192kHz audio signal transfers located on the rear panel as well as a high-resolution USB that can handle PCM data up to 384kHz and DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 natively.
Versatile
There are also twin RCA inputs and a 3.5mm input which has been equipped with high input sensitivity for better operation with smartphones, tablets and other portable players. For personal listening, there's a rear mounted 6.3mm jack to plug in your headphones.
Low Distortion
In order to lower noise and distortion across the frequency range, ATC also made changes to the input and output stages. The CDA2 MK2 incorporates a new CD transport with improved error-correction and lower mechanical noise.
