Description
Atacama Audition AU 500 Speaker Stands is the central model of the Audition range standing at 535mm tall with the same laser cut 360 x 225mm top platform as the other models in the series lending it compatibility with both shallow, wide speakers or the more coventional deep and narrow speaker cabinets.
Construction
Designed and built in the UK, each pair of AU500 stands features new carbon steel base plates which are laser cut to a thickness of 5mm alongside eight adjustable industrial BZP 8mm floor spikes with stainless steel detailing on the top caps and upgraded HLT (High Load Trapezoidal) Gel Pads for better isolation on the upper plates.
Optional Accessories
The stand can be filled with Atabites for mass loading to maximise audio reproduction. Floor spikes and HLT Isolation Gel pads are supplied. As isolation spikes are used, two sets of four Atacama HD-L (Nickel finish) spike shoes are recommended to guard floor coverings. AU500 is available in a choice of Satin Black or Diamond White as premium option (silver metallic is discontinued).
