Description

Sota Nova VI Turntable is an easy turntable to get along with. Sister to the Sapphire, this Heritage series turntable is easy to set up, and enjoys the reliability the brand is known for and incorporates  innovations to target environmental isolation and dynamic stability.

Robust Sub-Chassis Design

The aim of a turntable is to maximise information retrieval in order for your records to sound just as they were originally recorded. To do this means controlling the tiny vibrations that can affect the performance. Sota Nova incorporates 1" aircraft grade aluminium brace on the sub-chassis which makes it more robust, heavier and stiffer which effectively yields more accurate sound and clarity.

Achieving High-Fidelity Playback

When it comes down to the essentials, high-fidelity playback is only possible with a flat record. Clamps and weights can have some sonic improvements but tend to fail to completely flatter the records around the outer edges. Sota's self-sensing vacuum system does this with low noise and high reliability.

Vacuum Hold-Down System

The vacuum hold system works by removing the air between the record and the platter surface. When the record is lat on the platter, it is vacuum sealed in place which holds down the record and reduces the pump noise. The result is a quick, convenient solution for achieving the perfect perfect high-fidelity playback.
