Pro-Ject has produced a range of Beatles-themed turntables over the years and the Pro-Ject Yellow Submarine Limited Edition Turntable continues The range. The film Yellow Submarine was released in 1968 and featured innovative animation.
The turntable is a fun and quality addition for Beatles fans. The supplied cartridge is by Ortofon and has good specifications with an elliptical stylus. Moreover, the glass platter has a high mass and it is belt driven by a synchronous motor. Lastly, an optional dust cover can be purchased.

The cartridge used on the Pro-Ject Yellow Submarine Ltd Edition Turntable is a quality moving magnet unit from Ortofon. It is a new Concorde design with a yellow body and stylus tip known as the solar.
Additionally there are isolation feet fitted to the chassis and anti-skate is provided by a counterweight. The cartridge has a good specification with an elliptical stylus and a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Yellow Submarine was released in 1968 and featured the Beatles in animated form. Voice actors provided the Beatles voices. New songs for the film included All Together Now and Hey Bulldog. 1967s All You Need Is Love was also featured. The title song used for the film had been released as a single in 1966.
