Description
The Grandview Edge series of fixed frame Acoustic Projection screens gives you the ultimate in 4K and 8K Ultra HD projection surface whilst also remaining uniformly flat. This screen is perfect for permanent dedicated cinema rooms, the fixed frame design with the narrow surround gives a full cinematic experience in your home.
The ultra smooth 4K and 8K vinyl projection screen material is kept tight by high tension. Steel bars are inserted into the seem that runs round the edge of the material. The bars are then fixed into the aluminium frame, which causes the material to be pulled evenly on all sides.
The super rigid frame is only 12mm wide and is crafted from extruded aluminium with a black velvet finish that absorbs any stray light from an overlapping the picture. The material is mounted to a larger 2nd frame located behind it, and which has a central support bar to give the screen extra rigidity. The frame secured to the wall via two long aluminium brackets, the lower bracket allows you to lock the screen into place.
The screen material used here is a similar design that is employed in commercial cinema screens. The material has a low gain rating of 1.1, which keeps the contrast levels high and allows for a wide even viewing angle.
