Description
Linn Lingo MkIV LP12 Power Supply is a significant upgrade to any of the internal power supplies used in a Linn Sondek LP12. The latest generation is neater, more compact and smarter than ever. Supplied as standard with the premium Linn Akurate LP12.
Exact Speed
The Lingo drives the LP12’s platter, utilising a digital processing technology to ensure it spins consistently at the correct speed; 33.3 or 45 rpm. The Lingo uses has a motor speed management system, including a tachometer feedback loop, that they developed for their top quality power supply, the Linn Radikal DC. The all-new Linn Lingo utilises Digital Signal Proc4sing (DSP) technology to regulate the power input, so it is noise-free power, and with the Tachometer the exact speed is maintained, and subsequently, pitch and timing of music are preserved.
Off-board Case
The new Lingo MK IV is significantly smaller than the previous iterations. The power supply is isolated in an off-board case, with the motor controller and the circuits for speed regulation mounted within the turntable, close to its motor. The start-stop switch does not move and remains in its normal place on the turntable.
Ground Breaking
By employing a Radikal power supply the Lingo is a major upgrade, that will allow your vinyl collection to sound even better. The Lingo also automatically calibrates the motor when the Sondek LP12 is powered up to ensure consistent accuracy, and preventing your turntable from sounding like a mistuned musical instrument.
Upgrade Path
The Lingo is a primary improvement for your LP12 Turntable, it will upgrade the original internal power supply on the Majik and the earlier Lingo turntable.
