Design and Performance Features
The Hyper Achromatic X RCA S/PDIF is crafted with an OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) copper conductor, which ensures optimal conductivity and minimal signal loss. The conductor is wrapped in a microporous PTFE dielectric, designed to preserve signal integrity and reduce capacitance, further enhancing performance.
The cable features Atlas’s advanced dual-drain system, originally developed for the Mavros and Asimi interconnects. Twin symmetrical drain wires connect the screen to the cable return/plug interface, preventing distortion or mechanical stress during termination.
This results in a stable, low impedance load and a 360° shield against RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), ensuring clean, interference-free data transmission. The Hyper Achromatic X RCA S/PDIF uses cold-weld solder-free connectors, which eliminate continuity breaks and compression of the shielding screen, guaranteeing excellent jitter performance and a reliable, durable connection.
